The new office building Mežaparka birojs is officially open

On 7 November this year, the office building Mežaparks birojs was officially opened. The new office building on Ķelnes iela 1 is part of the large-scale real estate development project Mežaparks Rezidences, which will offer high-quality living, leisure, and work opportunities.

The new Class A office building consists of 3 floors with a total leasable area of 3344 m² as well as an underground floor. The layout of the building provides two types of rental space: on the 1st floor, creation of several commercial premises with separate entrances is possible, and there are modern office spaces on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Guest parking is located around the building, and office staff will be able to park their cars and bicycles in the underground or adjacent surface parking lot. Electric car stations are also provided.

Currently, 32% of the space has been leased. Among the tenants are the wine and delicatessen shop Vīna Pietura, real estate developer Domuss, the investment fund NCH Capital Inc., and the pre-school Laumiņas Rezidence. Smart building design allows customers to choose the right space ranging from 60 m² up to 1100 m² on one floor.
“The office building is designed not only to create a modern and creative work space, but also to provide the residents of the area with quality services that can be enjoyed in the immediate vicinity. I am sure that the tenants of the building – both employers and their employees – will appreciate not only the comfort of the premises, but also the opportunity to enjoy the green surroundings of Mežaparks and at the same time be only a 10-minute drive from the city center. More and more customers are expressing a desire to rent space with some privacy, and in this sense, this office building is ideally suited,” notes Ralf Jansons, director of Domuss Ltd.

“The architecture of this office building is based on functionality and clarity. Its image is created by two wooden structures connected by a single, glass central space with a cozy front yard entrance. The Accoya wood chosen for the facade is a unique solution in the Baltics. It comes from sustainable wood manufacturers and is the world’s most durable wood against moisture and sun,” says Gatis Didrihsons, the building’s architect.

Mežaparka birojs was built on the principles of sustainable construction by Citrus Solutions. The building has a Class A energy performance certificate. The designer is Gatis Didrihsons from Didrihsons architects and the interior designer is Eva Staņeviča. The developer is SIA DOMUSS, which has been on the Latvian real estate scene for 24 years.
