DOMUSS is a real estate development company—a part of the US investment fund group NCH. It has been operating in Latvia for over 14 years.

NCH is one of the leading investment funds in Eastern Europe, with investments exceeding three billion USD. The headquarters of NCH is in New York (US), with regional offices in Latvia, Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Bulgaria, Moldava, Kazakhstan and Albania.

Since its inception, NCH has invested about 300 million USD in Latvia, including 215 million USD in property developed by DOMUSS.

Projects developed by DOMUSS include single-family homes, office buildings (10+ in Old Town and the center of Riga), retail facilities (the fashion and shopping center Riga Plaza, in Pardaugava [Pārdaugava]), as well as warehouses and office centers (the warehouse/office complex Abava, in Imanta, Riga).

Significant ongoing projects of DOMUSS include:

• The Gypsum Factory (2^nd stage)—a unique apartment complex in Ķīpsala, Riga
• Lapsas (“The Fox”)—a village of family houses in Babīte municipality
• Alejas 43 (“Alley 43”)—an apartment building in the center of Liepāja
• Kaivas tirdzniecības Park (“Kaivas Commercial Park”)—a retail park in Dreiliņi, Riga
• Kaivas dzīvokļu kvartāls (“Kaivas Apartment Block”)—an apartment building in Dreiliņi, Riga

Other notable projects are:

SIDRABE

NCH is the main shareholder of the joint-stock company Sidrabe. Since 1962, Sidrabe has been recognized as a world leader in the development of progressive technologies and processes for vacuum coating. The main activity of the company is the design and manufacture of customized vacuum-coating equipment. The company collaborates with well-known partners from varied industries, including Nissan, Toyota, 3M and Sanyo.

GROGLASS

A unique high-tech company, GroGlass manufactures anti-reflective vacuum coating for large-size glass. The facility opened in 2007. NCH has invested LVL 20 million in the development of the factory and procurement of its technologies. The factory’s equipment was manufactured by Sidrabe. Based on the significant demand for greenhouse glass from the Netherlands, and the global demand for glass for solar photovoltaic panels, high-tech architectural glass, and art-framing glass, the company projects annual revenue increases for the foreseeable future and its emergence as a leader in the world market.

RĪGA PLAZA

The shopping mall Riga Plaza was developed by NCH in cooperation with Plaza Centers NV—an experienced developer of retail and entertainment centers in Central and Eastern Europe. Riga Plaza is anchored by the hypermarket Prisma, and features the multiplex cinema Multikino and family entertainment center Fantasy Park, as well as a range of popular brand stores and service providers.
